Great place tucked away on a beautiful spot on the river. Super friendly and helpful staff and owners. Multiple options for lodging campsites to cabins. Very reasonably priced. We had a nicely updated cabin. Bed, bathtub, small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. (Byoc or walk to office) would definitely stay here again!

This place is NOT kids friendly. My daughter and I had come here several years ago before she had my grandkids and although it was somewhat rough, it had its charm and the place was nearly empty. The manager was a nice biker lady who was happy to.help us with everything. Fast forward a couple of years to us pulling up to the office excited to go swimming after a 5 hour drive. No one home. We waited for 20 minutes before finally heading to the bathrooms to change and go down to the river. After a couple of hours of calling without any answer we headed back to the office. Again no one was there. So we went into the bathrooms and changed and when we came back the same manager from last time came and apologized and gave us the keys. This time though she was so drunk she could barely tell us where the nearest gas station was. We went to our cabin. It was clean and comfy and so then we headed out to dinner at the new steakhouse in town. When we got back and finally went to bed we were awoken by motorcycle noise and yelling. The people staying in the rv right next to the office were having a party and werr being so loud. When my husband went and told the manager that our grandkids were sleeping he was told that they would keep it down. They didnt. The party continued until about 3 am and then the next day the party moved up to the common area that we are supposed to be able to hang out on as guests of the park. The people all seemed to be extremely under the influence. We packed up and headed to the camp down the street which was way more quiet and kid friendly. I hear there are new owners, but if you have little ones, don't take them to Three Sisters Lodging. It's a really seedy place and with all of the drunk people hanging out right next to the playground, I wouldn't leave your kids alone to play if you do end up deciding to rent a cabin. Not safe. Dissappointing.

Great views!! River is awesome

Why 2 stars? I've given this lots of thought.

I would like to give this place a second chance but before I do, some type of after hours noise policy will need to be in place.

This whole experience really ruined me and my three girls Easter camping trip.

However, this campground apparently has no rules about noise and night time activities. I had to deal with a rowdy bunch of extremely rude and obnoxious a..holes directly across from me. On the second night they were not only rude but also confrontational. Eventually the manager was forced to call the police.

We booked the whole weekend of 7-15-2016. We arrived and Nancy welcomed us with a smile and more importantly, a cozy, clean cabin! AC was blowing and beds were comfortable. The grounds were clean and well kept. "Very Family Oriented." Within walking distance of the lodge, you will find a beautiful swimming spot on the Nueces that will blow you away... (Water, views.) The town of CampWood is literally a minutes drive away with helpful, friendly people. There's two Mexican restaurants in town that are ridiculously over priced. Family dollar and corner gas station has plenty to eat (freshly made pizzas, snacks, ect..) and anything else you need for your stay. Lastly, you have to hit up "Two Fat Boy's BBQ" on main st. Great food! It was a VERY Relaxing and Fun stay at Three Sisters Lodging. We're planning a return trip... THANK YOU NANCY!

I had a very bad experience here Easter weekend. The camp ground is great. The location is great. The lady running the facility was great.
